- Individuals, referral sources or prospective clients themselves can begin by accessing this online Portal to Recovery. This site allows people to learn about their condition, ATR-I benefits and learn about the providers in their area.
- Clients then call ATR-Idaho, 1-800-922-3406 to connect with a care manager who determines their financial eligibility and clinical needs, reviews choice among providers where possible and issues a voucher authorizing service reimbursement.
- The client then contacts the provider of their choosing and is assessed more fully according to evidence-based protocols. The assessment begins to establish the wide range of needs and concerns unique to every individual.
- Following an individual assessment, a treatment plan is developed that reflects the various concerns and services designed to address the client’s unique needs. Wherever possible, the client will be given choice among service providers. The client is issued additional vouchers as necessary and begins participating in treatment supported by targeted recovery support services such as life-skills education, safe and sober housing, transportation and child care.
- Client outcomes (measures of progress and success in important life areas) are measured periodically throughout treatment. Not only does this demonstrate the client’s success, it reflects the success of ATR-I as a whole. Clients have access to case management services along the way to assure their needs are met and their experience is successful.
